i experienced this issue. tried switching on airplane mode, restarting the device, and the above solution. nothing worked. i am about to do a hard reset when i accidentally touched the bluetooth key. it didnt stayed on, it flips back to off. curiously i tried again but same result. but when i slide my finger on the switch and let it stay there for 2 seconds it stayed on and at the same time the wifi signal also steadied. i dont know what happened but it worked for me.

There’s also in the advanced section an option called wi-fi control history and it shows the apps that control the wi-fi turning on and off and you can disable the apps from controlling your wi fi from there

I rectified my problem by turning off network notifications. It was caused by ny neighbors having a better wi fi signal than I was getting. The phone kept trying to join their network.

My Redme 7A hotspot network gets disconnected to other devices in 10 minutes, both in wifi and usb modes.
    This problem started recently.

There is a setting for hotspots in which if there is no usage of hotspot then device disconnects it from their end. I think you should check that. Otherwise there is no reason that it will disconnect once connected. In few phones, there is another setting in which if the phone goes to sleep mode then also wifi disconnectes. Check it if its there on redmi 7A.

I will to correct you, even if the wifi is strong, disconnect on its own. sometime caused by Microsoft update that need to be installed, sometime comes from the ISP. On poor connection could be true but not accurate as info. if in PC most of time Windows 10 is the problem, or and the wifi adapter or been unauthorized user from outside who is doing it or virus by Microsoft update to keep you disconnecting, Microsoft said with a illegal copy ms will cut internet .. lots of probabilities , less solutions
